

Hosted by the China Ministry of Land & Resources and the Tianjin Municipal Government, the 12th annual CHINA MINING Congress & Expo will be held at Tianjin Meijiang Convention Center from November 16th through 18th, 2010.
The theme of this year’s Congress & Expo is: The World and China in Mining Consolidation: Co-operation, Responsibility and Development. Over the years CHINA MINING has evolved into one of the most influential mineral exploration/extraction trade events in the world, and has come to play a critical role in bringing together top policy makers and leading industry figures.
Given China’s on-going economic expansion, the importance of entering into strategic partnerships with foreign counterparts remains of the essence. The CHINA MINING Congress and Expo will give participants the opportunity to explore mutually beneficial possibilities for collaboration, and will feature enlightening conferences/breakout sessions, attention-grabbing exhibitions and featured events that will both pay tribute to the outstanding achievement of a number of industry leaders as well as present unparalleled networking opportunities.
CHINA MINING conference will call attention to and encourage original and forward-thinking business communities between international mining interests and those of China. With a diverse line-up of special sessions covering such topics as global mining capital market, mining investment and financing, geological survey, exploration development, mining right trading, smelting and processing, technique and equipment and mining services, attendees will gain insight to the opportunities available with the China mining sector.
Additionally, the conference will provide the opportunity to hear first hand from top Chinese government officials regarding the state of the mining sector in China and how the government is working in encouraging best practices in exploration, development and FDI.
As with previous exhibitions CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2010 will include exhibitor booths and official delegations from the primary extractive industries countries, mining and exploration companies, investment and financing institutions, evaluation and consulting companies, service providers and equipment suppliers, as well as representatives of multi-lateral organizations interested in this crucial industry.
Featured events such as the CHINA MINING Awards Gala Dinner, cocktail parties, mine site visit and student recruitment day are also held with the intention of creating a casual atmosphere for networking.
CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2009 attracted more than 3,500 delegates from 55 countries and featured over 420 booths. Mr. Li Keqiang, the Vice Premier, especially sent a congratulatory message to CHINA MINING 2009.
