Hosted by the Ministry of Land & Resources and the Tianjin Municipal Government, the 13th CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2011will be held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center on November 6-8, 2011.The theme of CHINA MINING 2011 is Strengthen International Cooperation, Accelerate Geological Exploration & Mine Development.

CHINA MINING Congress & Expo, one of the largest mineral exploration and mining trading platforms, covers the whole value chain, including geological survey, exploration development, mining rights trading, mining investment and financing, smelting and processing, technique and equipment, mining services, etc. CHINA MINING plays a critical role in creating more communication and co-operation opportunities for domestic and international industry communities.

Since the first time CHINA MINING was held in 1999, the scope and influence has been extending every year. CHINA MINING Congress & Expo has now become an annual not to miss event, and a platform for the world mining players. CHINA MINING 2010 attracted more than 5,000 delegates from 60 countries and featured over 600 booths. First Vice President of the Republic of Peru, H.E. Luis Giampietri Rojas together with nine mining ministers from other countries attended the Event. Vice Premier H.E. Li Keqiang from China State Council gave the keynote address in the Opening Ceremony.

CHINA MINING Congress & Expo consists of three parts – Conference, Exhibition and Coherent Events.

During the Conferences, government officials, industry leaders, and experts from both Chinese and foreign mining industries have in-depth mining dialogues on questions related to the mining industry. The topics cover Summits with the Ministers' Forum and Global Mining CEO Roundtable, Mining and Macroeconomic Aspects, Investment and Financing, Mining Commodities, Prospecting and Exploration, Technology and Equipment and Sustainability in Mining, etc.

The Exhibition includes China Land & Resources Government Area, Major Mining Country Area, General Mining Area and Special Construction Area. The coherent CHINA MINING Equipment Show, this time in the 6th year, is dedicated to the largest and most professional mining equipment show providing a trade platform for the equipment producers and buyers. CHINA MINING Expo provides unique business opportunities for mining exploration companies and all-related service providers.

The 6th CHINA MINING Awards and Gala Dinner together with other coherent events, such as Signing Ceremony of project investments, Government Welcome Dinner, etc. provide outstanding networking opportunities for the participants.
