The global mining countries' ministers discussed latest developments in mining and mining policies. The forum also provided delegates with the opportunity to learn about investment opportunities in a variety of countries.
CEO Forum
In the CEO Forum, leaders of global mining industry gave the audience the perspective of corporations on latest developments in mining. Successful strategies and achievements, experiences and perspectives were addressed and shared with the interested audience.
Countries and Regions Forum
The Countries and Regions Forum was dedicated to the government representation below the national level. Chinese provinces including Yunnan, Heilongjiang, Xinjiang, Hunan as well as the China Geology Survey, and international representation from Canada, Australia and Mongolia used this forum to introduce new mining resources, exploitation policies and investment opportunities.
Mining Suppliers Forum
This forum was sponsored by Orica Ltd. Orica with other strategic suppliers has presented on the challenges they are facing and how they were working with customers to meet increasing demand.
Outbound Investment Forum
The Outbound Investment Forum, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers, addressed the growing importance of Chinese outbound investment. It takes into consideration international integration in mining and the related fields. |
