Uranium Focus
China is looking for close international cooperation in the construction and management of the country's nuclear power stations in order to fill the persisting gap between the current technical level in China and internationally. This offers enormous business opportunities for foreign nuclear power companies in China.

Industry Background

Currently 435 nuclear power plants in 31 countries provide 6.5% of global energy supply
Only 1% of the total Chinese energy demand is met by nuclear energy. China is planning to build some 25-30 new nuclear power plants within the next 13 years
Chinese investors are looking for overseas opportunities in uranium projects

Responding to a growing interest this year's CHINA MINING picks up the topic"Uranium" on an own, focused session on the second day of the conference.

The"Uranium Focus" session is interesting for Government leaders, scholars, engineers and industry representatives to carry out discussions on China's uranium policies and regulations, the development trends of uranium exploration and mining technology, and outstanding experience in the management of uranium mining.
