The 13th CHINA MINING Congress & Expo 2011 took place in the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center on November 6-8, 2011. It consists of three parts - Conference, Exhibition and Coherent Events.
Government officials, industry leaders, and experts from both Chinese and foreign mining industries had in-depth mining discussions on questions related to the mining industry during the conference. The topics covered Mining Industry Trends, Mining and Finance, Mining and Macroeconomy, China Outbound Mining Investment, Sustainable Mining, Mining Commodities, Geological Survey, Mining Technology and Equipment, etc.
The exhibition contained China Land & Resources Government Area, Major Mining Country Areas, General Mining Area and Special Construction Area. It provided a trade platform for the equipment producers and buyers; moreover, it offered unique business opportunities for mining exploration companies and all-related services providers.
The 6th CHINA MINING Awards and Gala Dinner together with other coherent events, such as Signing Ceremony of project investments and Government Welcome Dinner, etc. provided outstanding networking opportunities for the participants.

Li Keqiang Meets with multi-national resources and energy ministers
Xinhua Beijing on November 7 (Reporter Tan Jingjing) Vice Premier Li Keqiang met the international resources and energy Ministers of 18 countries, incl. Australia, Canada, South Africa during CHINA MINING 2011.
Li Keqiang said that resource endowments of different countries and strengthen cooperation is a key factor to a sustainable future. Especially the international commodity market supply & demand and price volatility needs more coordinated response of all parties concerned to promote the formation of long-term, stable and predictable commodity supply & demand and reasonable price mechanism as well as to constrain speculation in order to protect reasonable needs.
Li Keqiang identified three goals to strengthen international cooperation in energy resource. Firstly to further deepen the mining, processing, technology and market all-round pragmatic cooperation, as well as to enhance global resources and support capabilities.
